Your Wedding Interpreted Through the Eyes of an Artist

Wedding Photography… if you ask me, is a must, but wouldn’t it be great to see how an artist would interpret your wedding day on canvas… as it unfolds? A live artist can do that for you in a one-of-a-kind way. The result — a beautiful, romantic keepsake that can hang in your home for decades to come.

Your guests will undoubtedly enjoy seeing the work develop throughout the day/night, which means that you will have an alternate form of entertainment to offer them when they decide to take a break from dancing.

There are several different live event art styles, so you may have to interview several artists to find the form of interpretation that best matches your vision. While wedding receptions are the most popular event to have captured, live artists also frequently cover wedding ceremonies and/or rehearsal dinners.

Greg Kalamar, who prefers acrylic on canvas paints about 25 weddings a year, but also covers many other events. Greg is located in Los Angeles, but will travel to your desired location. At the end of your event, you can either walk away with the finished work of art or you can arrange to have it delivered. He will even arrange to have an image of your painting converted into greeting cards — a fabulous idea for thank you notes that will allow your guests to see the finished piece as well!

Frances Lynn primarily paints with oils on canvas and will travel to your event as well. If you’re already married, she may be able to look at your photographs and create an interpretation of your wedding day from those images.

Each artist has a unique approach and wonderful style. Find the one that best matches your own personal style, so you can have a keepsake that you will treasure for a lifetime.  What a fabulous way to remember your wedding day.

Amy Ruocco is the Founder and CEO of WeddingWindow.com, an award-winning wedding website company. The concept for Wedding Window was developed while Amy was in the midst of planning her own wedding. The process of managing and distributing the details regarding her wedding to her guests caused her to ask herself if there was a better way to communicate this information. Being a web designer, she decided to create her own wedding website in order to allow her guests to download directions to the wedding and reception, link to accommodation ideas, learn more about her and her fiancé and view photos of the actual proposal.
