What hot trend has been popping up everywhere? I’ll give you a hint: it’s NOT a fabulous color combination. It’s NOT a candy buffet. It’s NOT wedding cupcakes in lieu of a traditional cake. Although the aforementioned details make me positively giddy, it is not any of those things. So what is the modern wedding’s best kept secret?

What the heck is a damask? The dictionary defines a damask as an “elaborate pattern of flowers and the like.” Works for me. Here are some examples of damask patterns:

Ok, that’s great. Now what? The possibilities for incorporating this unique pattern into your wedding are endless. For a modern look, stick with different shades of pink or blue and accent with black damasks. There is no right or wrong way to utilize this hot trend.
