An Elegant and Personal Wedding Website

Chris and Amy’s site is our featured WeddingWindow.com wedding website of the week. Simple and elegant — great use of photography and well-organized content. Congratulations Chris and Amy!

WeddingWindow.com Website Design: “Celebrity”

1. How has your website has been most helpful?
We have quite a few out of town guests so it was helpful in providing them all the travel and accommodations information they’ll need to book their trip. I also found the link to our registry very helpful. Overall it eliminated a ton of phone calls and emails to me with questions – I simply had to direct them to the website for the answers!

2. How did you customize your website?
We added our monogram into the intro and put together a fun playlist so they didn’t hear the same song over and over again as they took their time browsing the site.

3. Did you customize other elements of your wedding as well? If so, what were they?
We rented an old fashioned popcorn machine and set up a candy buffet for a late night snack. We also lined our dance floor with buckets of flip flops and a sign that says “kick off your heels and stay awhile?”

4. What was your favorite wedding website feature?
The Setup Wizard made the creating process very easy! Nobody could believe I had created the website myself they thought it looked so professional. Little did they know it took me hardly any time at all…

5. What did you do that you feel made your wedding uniquely your own?
To me it was all about the details! We put a lot of creativity into everything from the goofy save the date magnets we created to replicate a photo booth picture to the use of ostrich feathers in the bouquets and centerpieces. We even hired a trumpet player to make my grand entrance even grander! My hope is that this will be an event our guests will never forget!
