I am simply looking for an unconventional, memorable, and beautiful wedding. Is that too much to ask? I don’t think so either and that is why I thought I’d share my journey with you! Read More…

Florida Dreams of Fall
Wonderful Fall Theme Wedding Ideas
I love fall… it is my favorite time of the year. If I didn’t live in South Florida, I would get married on a fall day when all of the leaves are changing color.

My bridesmaids would wear red with brown shoes.

Their bouquets would be orange and yellow with red accents.

The guys would wear chocolate tuxes and have ivory vests.

The guests would get their place cards on pumpkins because Erik and I used to love the pumpkin patch in Schaumburg…

The centerpieces would be cornucopias filled with flowers and surrounded by tea light candles. The wedding would be in late October or early November on a brisk fall evening.

My menu would be a Thanksgiving feast inspired feast:
Hors D’oeuvres: Mushrooms Caps with Sage Stuffing, Brie en Croute topped with a cranberry and walnut relish, Crostini with pumpkin seed pesto
First Course: Butternut Squash Ravioli with a clove infused cream sauce
Main Course: Turkey and Ham with Gravy served on the side. Accompanied by green beans almondine and rosemary garlic smashed potatoes.
Instead of a wedding cake, I would have a wedding pies including pumpkin, apple, and pecan pie!

A close friend of mine got married in Boston and here are some of her fall wedding creations … I loved her incorporation of the cranberries. Her favors were yummy candied apples. She’s so clever!
