One of the best ideas that I’ve seen for wedding invitations, by far, is to have custom wedding invitations printed on WOOD! This doesn’t seem very green to me…people who don’t want to save your wedding invitations can usually recycle them so they paper can be reused. They would just throw away the wooden ones. Also, consider how many more trees it takes to make a batch of wooden invitations. My best guess is that it takes many more than paper ones.
