I am a huge fan of anything vintage. I just think there is something very special about an item that may have been loved by someone else in years past. In fact, many brides are selecting to incorporate vintage items into their wedding day. I recently came across a fabulous DIY project, from 100layercake.com, utilizing vintage wallpaper and just had to share it with all of you!
You won’t need a ton of supplies for this project and any kind of wallpaper can be used, it doesn’t necessarily have to be vintage. But you can find pretty good deals on vintage rolls and the patterns are really fun. Wallpaper is an awesome way to carry your selected theme through your entire wedding. Imagine the possibilities! You could use wallpaper for your invites, envelope liners, table numbers, place cards, table runners, aisle runners, wedding programs, reception menus, plate chargers, favor tags, etc.

These are lovely ideas! I think one of the biggest trends this year is using unexpected materials–like flowers made of paper or lace.
