Featured Photographer: Scott Hopkins Photography

Today we have some beautiful photos from Julianna and Kevin’s wedding – shot by this week’s featured photographer, Scott Hopkins Photography.  This amazing company is built from the hard work and talent of husband and wife, Scott and Melissa Hopkins.

Scott and Melissa are based in Savannah, GA.  Starting out in nature photography, Scott spent years teaching photography in the Great Smoky Mountains. In 2004, he made the transition to photographing weddings and has not looked back since. Now with the addition of Melissa to the team, they work together to capture your celebration as quiet observers and provide you with stunning images from your day.

Today, we’re lucky to have Scott and Melissa’s photos to share with all of you! So, here goes …

Julianna and Kevin’s wedding took place at Haig Point, a private community on Dafuskie Island in South Carolina. They were married next to the historic lighthouse overlooking the water with their friends and family. After the ceremony, the couple was then taken to the poolside reception via horse and carriage.  The gorgeous cake was done by Sheri’s Edible Designs and the floral designs for the ceremony, reception and bouquets were created by the groom’s family, the owners of McCarthy Group Florists. At the end of the hot night, some of the guests chose the beat the heat by jumping in the pool and dancing the night away.
