Rachel: “Brilliant Imagery is a Boutique studio, photographing only a limited number of weddings a year. That way we are able to really focus on and become come friends with each of our clients. The ‘we’ of Brilliant Imagery consists of myself, Rachel, being the main photographer, Carmen, as a second photographer and right hand wo-man. And Ashley, our manager of all things business. (She keeps me sane.) Having Ashley and Carmen’s support in all this helps me balance my family life and my love of weddings. To me, wedding photography is the most challenging and rewarding kind of photography there is. I get to document and be part of the most precious day two people can have. I can’t think of a better job and I’ve never been happier.”

Rachel: “My style is a mix of photojournalism and dramatic fashion. I love funky, authentic, raw imagery. With every couple I photograph I try to find that special, unique thing about them that makes their relationship sparkle. Then I bring that element out in images. With Lauren and Mitch it was their love of art and their ability to make laughter beautiful.”
