Featured Photographer: KGOODPHOTO

This week’s Featured Photographer is a fabulous lady located in Canada.  Kelsey Goodwin, of KGOODPHOTO, is an absolute rock-star wedding photographer.  She has just concluded her first – and very successful – year of running her own photography business and could not be happier with with the results!

Kelsey: “Photography as a medium is so powerful because it affects everyone – from high school yearbooks to every other milestone in your life, it accomplishes the seemingly impossible concept of time travel. You go back to that moment. This is why I love what I do.

I love stories that take you somewhere, places you’ve never been and places you like to visit often. I love images that stick with you – like a good song you want to know. When I see an image I like, it haunts me like a good dream. I am constantly striving to improve my time travel abilities for you! I Love styles that are unique and artistic (I get lots of inspiration from magazines and music videos). Fashion and fine-art photography have always interested me as well, and I try to apply this approach to everything I shoot.”

We have photos from a Trash the Dress shoot Kelsey did with Genn and Jeff who wanted to celebrate their one year anniversary with a fun and sexy photo sesh.  Genn didn’t want to trash her real wedding dress so she bought one at a thrift shop – a great alternative and the dress worked perfectly for the photo shoot!  Check out the photos …
