Susie: “Alethea was so organized – yes, I had a schedule of the day down to what was happening every 5 minutes – and at the rehearsal on Thursday night she was so calm, even though they were predicting rain all day on Saturday. Alethea & Daniel have an 18” height difference between them, but they’re still perfect for each other! In fact, his mother made the cake topper that reflects the height difference. Alethea’s family is from the Philippines, so they incorporated several Filipino traditions in the wedding ceremony, including the candle, the cord, the veil, and the coins. Alethea also visited the Philippines last December, and found her gorgeous wedding dress there and paid a grand total of $120.00 for the dress! She also had the bridesmaids send their measurements over, and their dresses were made there as well. One of her aunts did a lot of the decorations in the reception hall. Each table was set up with a different year on it, and then there were photos of Daniel & Alethea from that year on the table. Her colors were teal and pink. They rented a Rolls Royce to take them from the Church to the Reception, and we made a small stopover at the Statehouse in Annapolis to take some photos.”
