I’ll Have a Mashed Potato Martini, Please!

I’m actually not talking about a cocktail here…I’m talking about a mashed potato martini bar.  Now this is a wedding trend I can really sink my teeth into…literally!  Mashed potatoes can serve as more than just a tasty side dish. You can create the ultimate comfort food buffet by offering guests an array of yummy toppings to choose from.

Get creative!  Add lobster meat, pulled pork, Gorgonzola cheese, fried onion straws, guacamole, sauerkraut, and other unique toppings to your list.  Trust me…your guests will go wild!  Mashed potato martini bars are easy, inexpensive, fun…and most importantly…FILLING!  What’s not to love?!

Unexpected Patterns

One of the best things about being a bride is being able to pick out the shoes for the most important day of your life. This may sound funny to most, but for shoe lovers, this is a very serious and exciting task! There are so many stressful moments when planning a wedding that picking out your wedding shoes seems like a day at Disney Land.

Brides have so much freedom when picking out wedding shoes, why not pick out a pair of shoes that have a little pop? Consider adding texture and pattern to the classic white wedding shoe. Polka dots, stripes, lace, flowers, there are so many possibilities! What pattern would you choose?
