10 DIY Wedding Lighting Ideas

Lighting is a great way to set the mood for your wedding. I love when couples get creative and use lighting techniques that are rather uncommon. Lights can brighten up your venue or give your event a cozy romantic feel. As you might remember, one of my favorite ways to achieve intimate lighting is by using string lights (see this post). But there are plenty of other ways to use lighting to give your wedding a custom look. Below are some DIY lighting ideas that would be super fun to include in a wedding!

1. Dixie Cup Lights – These dixie cup lights are adorable!  They would be perfect for a casual wedding!

I so much love the “Love” lights. Incorporating Chinese lanterns with lights are also nice for a wedding. What I mean are those lanterns that are like balloons that will fly away.

This lighting you use is truly fantastic. We have been getting many inquiries about using LED Up Lighting in wedding receptions. It’s great for lighting up architecture and bare walls with any color. Now the LED lights are designed in a way that you can get over 16.5+ million colors to choose from. The technology is truly amazing. They look fantastic on brick walls as well. Thank you for posting this. It has given us some ideas on what to recommend to our wedding clients.
