Finding the Perfect Professional Wedding Photographer
I’m that family member that takes her digital camera everywhere and snaps away. Being on the other side of the camera is definitely a different experience! That’s why finding the right wedding photographer is so important to me. Here are some things to keep in mind when you search for the best wedding photographers…
- Ask your friends and family. Most brides won’t hesitate when you ask to see their wedding pictures. Take a look, ask them who they used and how they felt about their experience.
- Look at professional wedding photographer’s websites. Most will showcase their work online and provide photo galleries for you to surf through.
- Visit the photographer. There you’ll be able to flip through various sample albums to see their pictures. You’ll also get a better understanding of the quality of work and what each package includes.
- Once you meet the photographer, see if you guys click! Make note if the vendor is late, rushes you, etc. You want your wedding day to be perfect and about you. You’ll be spending the entire day with the photographer following you around so find someone who you’re comfortable with.

I am using the same wedding photographer for my wedding that I used for my NJ engagement party, which was great trial run for the big day. I loved all my pictures from the party – I had so many great ones to choose from! Not only did my photographer capture all the right moments during the party but we did a quick 30 minute portrait session before the party. In those 30 minutes I got over 125 pics to select from to put in our album! I couldn’t ask for more!
