I am a graphic designer who loves all things crafty. I am a girl who loves design, crafts and decorating! I currently spend all of my time either doing design work or playing with my little dog named Poly! Ever since I was a young girl I have always dreamed of my perfect wedding (as all girls do). In reality, weddings do not always come out exactly the way the bride wishes it to be. My goal is to share fun and cute wedding ideas that I used in my wedding or ideas that I wish I could have created for my wedding. I wish for all brides to have fun with their wedding planning and to be able to customize their wedding with all the little fun details that will make their wedding dreams come true. Happy Planning!!!

The White Party

Many brides and grooms have trouble picking out wedding colors. This is only one of the most important decisions when planning a wedding. Wedding colors express the bride’s and groom’s personality. Will the wedding be traditional? Or ,will the colors fit into a more modern wedding color scheme?

If you are having trouble finalizing a wedding color palette, my suggestion is to turn your wedding into a white party. A monochromatic white wedding is very chic. White weddings tend to be more upscale and luxurious in atmosphere.  However, there are ways to make a wedding in white seem more laid back, if this is what you are looking for. That’s the wonderful thing about the color white; it goes with everything!

If you are going for a luxurious look, try white roses as the wedding flower along with white feathers. If you would like a simple, relaxed wedding, think about having white daisies and white wild flowers.

When planning their wedding brides tend to have a checklist. Location – check. Flowers – check.  Dress – check. Shoes … When picking out their shoes, many brides pick out a classic white shoe to go with their white dress. Instead of a plain white shoe, why not choose a shoe with a fun embellishment or a shoe in a bright color?

Consider wearing shoes that stands out. There are so many shoe choices when it comes to wedding shoes. From lace and bows to rhinestones and bright colors … have fun with your wedding shoes!

Everything Roses

When you think of picking out flowers for your wedding day, the odds are that roses will come to mind. Having roses for your wedding is a classic and timeless choice.  The tricky part with roses is trying to find new and innovative ways to make the traditional wedding rose your own.

When trying to think of creative ways to make roses exciting on your wedding day, consider using roses in both the traditional ways and in new details for your wedding day. Roses can be added to your hair to add a sense of whimsy and romance. They can also be added on your shoes (as shoe clip) for an added fashion couture look. Some other lovely ways to incorporate roses on your wedding day can include having your flower girl sprinkle whole roses instead of just the rose petals, this will add a little more romance to your day.

Pretty, Pretty Peacock

In my opinion, one of the most beautiful birds in the world is the peacock. Peacocks are regal, colorful and for a bird, pretty stylish. It is no wonder that peacock feathers have become a popular detail for brides to incorporate into their wedding day.

Peacock feathers can be easily embraced in every part of a wedding.  Think about adding them to a design element in the wedding invitation, incorporating them into the floral arrangement, even wearing them in your hair! The Possibilities are endless! How would you incorporate peacock feathers into your wedding?

Unexpected Patterns

One of the best things about being a bride is being able to pick out the shoes for the most important day of your life. This may sound funny to most, but for shoe lovers, this is a very serious and exciting task! There are so many stressful moments when planning a wedding that picking out your wedding shoes seems like a day at Disney Land.

Brides have so much freedom when picking out wedding shoes, why not pick out a pair of shoes that have a little pop? Consider adding texture and pattern to the classic white wedding shoe. Polka dots, stripes, lace, flowers, there are so many possibilities! What pattern would you choose?
