BBQs are lovely, relaxing and are full of family and friends. A BBQ or backyard wedding is a wonderful way to go if you want a casual wedding celebration. There are many benefits to having this style wedding … the main reason I find BBQ and backyard weddings appealing is because they are intimate, sweet and thoughtful.
These weddings tend to cater more to the guests and the overall experience rather than focusing only on the couple. Because these weddings are normally more private than events held at large-scale venues, couples are better able to attend to and spend time with their guests. These weddings are also usually more relaxed – making guests feel comfortable and more at home.
Another reason why I’m a fan of BBQ and backyard weddings is because they are typically budget friendly! Because these weddings can normally be held at a family home or at a near by park (for a minimum permit fee), they can be a joyous wedding affair while keeping to a small wedding budget.
A BBQ or backyard wedding can be a magnificent looking event with a just few creative touches. So just remember to keep an open mind …
