Unique Gifts Ideas for each Individual Bridesmaid

When it came time to show my appreciation for my bridesmaids, I was hard pressed to find something that fit all seven of them.

Of course, I considered a piece of jewelry that coordinated with their bridesmaid dresses and my colors and that could be worn on the day of the wedding. But jewelry can be such a personal preference, and even if they could never wear their dress again, I wanted them to get some use out of their gift after the big day.

I also considered hosting a wedding day “morning at the spa,” with all the girls getting their hair and/or makeup done. But the scheduling, coordinating and transporting of seven girls in a peaceful, stress-free, wedding day manner was a potential headache I did not want to suffer.

And so it became one of the easiest wedding decisions I made—choose personalized gifts for each gal!

Three of my bridesmaids were new mothers, so that became my inspiration for their gift. I visited various gift shops and boutiques to find cute, motherhood-inspired novelties.

One of my bridesmaids and her husband have always had a love for wine and recently turned their basement into their own wine cellar. I used that as my inspiration for her gift!

Another bridesmaid had recently purchased a home and was still completing her kitchen collections. Her sister commented to me that she was looking for some casual drinking cups. Since my wedding was in Florida, I decided to pay tribute to a local company and get my bridesmaid a collection of Tervis Tumblers.

I did send a mass email to my bridesmaids to gauge interest in getting their hair, makeup and/or nails done, and a few were gung-ho. So for them, I focused on beauty as the inspiration for their gifts. I hired a couple stylists to come to the venue and do hair for a few bridesmaids on the day of the wedding. I gave one gal a gift certificate to a spa, and I scheduled a mani-pedi the week of the wedding for my maid of honor.

I also found cute makeup kits to supplement!
