Cookie Buffets!

Looking for an alternative dessert idea for your wedding events? Cookie Buffets have been popping up at bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and weddings everywhere lately! I LOVE cookies so, of course, I was thrilled to see this dessert option become a growing trend.

Aside from being a a table full of tasty treats, cookie buffets can easily be incorporated into your wedding decor. With so many options for displaying cookies, the buffet can be it’s own entity at your event… a beautiful decor statement in itself! Gourmet Jell-O Shots

I know what you’re thinking….”Wow, Stacy has stooped to an all-time low on this one! Jello-O shots for a wedding…PUH-LEASE!” Well, what if I told you that Martha Stewart Weddings has recognized “upscale jelly shots”, formerly known as plain ol’ Jell-O shots, as one of the hottest wedding trends right now. I actually found a blog and book dedicated to the very subject.

Ladies and gentlemen, jelly shots are not just for frat parties anymore…these classed-up versions can bring a fun, albeit unexpected, design element to even the most fabulous of fêtes. And seriously, who doesn’t love a good Jello-O shot? Admit it…these wiggly, whimsical little treats are an absolute delight to devour!

Milk And Cookies

When you hear the words milk and cookies, you instantly think of all things comforting, loving, and supportive. Am I right? Milk and cookies are the ultimate comfort food … what you ate as a child when your grandparents wanted to give you a special treat or what young children leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve to show their gratitude. So, why not serve milk and cookies on your wedding day to remind you and all your guests of those good times growing up. This a wonderfully yummy way to thank your guests for attending your wedding!

Weddings are so much fun! They are full of family and friends and joyous times. It seems impossible to find a way to make them more entertaining. Never fear, ice cream is here to save you! Having an ice cream social at your wedding is a fun and delicious way to entertain your guests. An ice cream buffet can replace the wedding cake or even appear instead of or during the cocktail hour (desert before dinner is always a good idea). Of course, the bride and groom can always opt to have a small ice cream cake as their wedding cake. That way they can still do the traditional wedding day activities, such as cutting the cake, while the guests line up at the ice cream buffet to enjoy a taste of the fun.
