This week we have another beautiful wedding from our featured photographer John LoConte. Erin and Luigi had a beautiful winter wedding in Salem, Ma.

Every part of this couple’s special day was planned to perfection – everything fit in with the classic vintage look and feel. From the ceremony to the reception and every little detail in between, it was all carefully customized for the special occasion.

Erin was a total DIY bride and made sure that every detail was just right. I love the vintage suitcases as card and gift holders.

The couple even hired a silhouette artist to be on site and create beautiful silhouettes of the guests as wedding favors.

Welcome Back Featured Photographer Benjamin DiCaprio

Benjamin DiCaprio is back as this week’s Macro Monday featured photographer with more lovely shots from another destination wedding. Benjamin traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland to photograph the marriage of Jenn and Asef.

The couple met in Edinburgh several years ago and decided to return to the city where they met for their destination wedding.

Jenn and Asef were joined by friends from around the world to celebrate their marriage at the Balmoral Hotel in downtown Edinburgh.

During the ceremony there was a torch light procession through the streets. Jenn and Asef grabbed a torch and ran out to join in the excitement!

It was a beautiful wedding located in a place with remarkable meaning to the bride and groom – who were lucky to share their destination with friends and family who traveled to be with them on their big day. Congratulations Jenn and Asef!

Welcome Back Featured Photographer Eric Limon

Featured Photographer – One Love Photography

Today we are featuring the work of husband and wife photography duo – Heather and Jon from One Love Photography. Based out of Seattle, this photography company focuses on creating “uncompromising artistic style” and non-traditional wedding photography. Heather and Jon shoot with a combination of cameras which include digital, film, homemade lenses and plastic toy cameras. They have a very unique style and produce beautiful wedding photography with an overall vintage feel.

Today they are sharing Megan and Jeff’s wedding in Olympia, Washington. The couple had a lovely outdoor ceremony and the details of the day were the main focus – most made by local artisans.

One recurring detail of the day was the car Jeff has had since he was 15 – his yellow ‘67 Chevelle.

Featured Photographer – Jenny Jimenez

This week’s Macro Monday Featured Photographer is Jenny Jimenez. Jenny is a Seattle wedding photographer who has been a professional photographer for 10 years. She began by shooting promotional portraits of musicians and live shows. After photographing a friend’s wedding in 2001, she was hooked on wedding photography. Shooting weddings felt strangely similar to shooting musicians and concerts – the emotion, pace and unpredictability. While Jenny occasionally shoots other freelance work, her main focus these days is wedding related photography.

Today we have Jenny’s photographs from Allison and Chad’s wedding in Port Gamble, WA.

Port Gamble is a quaint old mill town that was modeled after a small town in Maine and located along she shores of the Hood Canal.

The couple were married in a beautiful church with blue walls … Allison’s inspiration for the blue and green wedding colors!

After the ceremony, the wedding party and all of the guests took a scenic walk through town to the reception site. The reception was held in Port Gamble’s Pavilion, overlooking the Sound and the setting sun.
