Scheduling an engagement shoot with your wedding photographer is a great idea. My guess is that the majority of people out there are not used to having a professional photographer around snapping pictures all day. I’m certainly not! Doing an engagement shoot with the same photographer that will be doing your wedding photos is a great way to get comfortable working with them. Not only will you be able to build a relationship with your photographer and get to know their style, it will also relieve some of the pressure of being in front of the camera for the first time on your wedding day.

Engagement Shoot from Adorabella Photography
Kelly and Craig’s engagement shoot with Adorabella Photography was simple and sweet. The couple wanted to reflect their love for the outdoors with their engagement session, so they chose quaint downtown Kirkwood, Missouri complete with an active train station. To end the session they hiked to the top of Castlewood State Park for a stunning look over the Missouri River.
