Wedding Photographer Showcases Creative Work
Dionne Haglund of The Shooting Gallery is this week’s featured photographer. The Shooting Gallery does wedding and portrait photography and is based in Michigan. Dionne shoots local weddings and will also travel wherever needed for destination weddings. Since she was young, her camera has been at her side wherever she goes. Although originally interested in television production, Dionne took a few photography courses during college and realized that it was actually the still image that truly captured her interest.
“The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him, he is always doing both.” –Zen Buddhist
Dionne:” The quote above does more than merely describe my outlook on the path I’ve chosen in life, it explains it in a way I never could. Photography is my one true passion and has been for many years.”
Today we have Lauren and Andrew MacKellar’s wedding, photographed by Dionne and The Shooting Gallery. I love the softness in these bridal portraits!
The Shooting Gallery has done a wonderful job of capturing the interactions of the bride, groom and wedding party and the close connections between them.
They also pieced together images from the reception to show off some of the details.
Congratulations Lauren and Andrew! Thank you to The Shooting Gallery for sharing their wedding with us!
