Boutonnieres come in all shapes and sizes. If you’re planning a handmade wedding, DIY boutonnieres are a fun wedding project that probably won’t be too time consuming. Rather than making 150 DIY wedding favors, boutonnieres would be reserved for just the guys in your wedding party. A much more manageable project.
Most of these tutorials are pretty simple and could be busted out in a day or two. Especially if you enlist the help of your groom (if he’s willing) or some of your bridesmaids! Plus by using materials in your wedding colors or that fit with the style of your wedding, DIY bouts are a great way to add personalized or custom touches to your day.
I think my personal faves are the confetti popper boutonnieres… such a fun idea! A colorful burst of confetti from the groomsmen after you say “I do” would definitely be a playful surprise during your ceremony.
