DIY Bride- Ideas to Create a Rustic Wedding Using Mason Jars
When I saw these numbered mason jars on Pottery Barn’s website, I was instantly inspired to dedicate this post to the beautiful, reusable mason jar – a must for any DIY bride or anyone who wants to add a rustic or whimsical feel to their wedding. These are so incredibly cute, and can double as a centerpiece (just fill them with flowers) and a table number. And if you have more than three tables, which most people do, you can make your own, using these as a guide.
I also love these quilted jelly jars, which tend to look a little bit fancier and would look lovely grouped with the more casual mason jars.
There are so many uses for these magnificent little jewels – you can even fill them with sand or marbles and candles, which can be placed on tables alongside your centerpieces, as a lighted pathway leading your guests to your event, or as hanging lanterns lighting up the surrounding trees – what a beautiful sight! And the best part of all of this is that they are affordable and can be used again and again after your big day. Amazon.com has a ton of options.
Another great idea is to use them as favors, filled with bath salts or the ingredients for your favorite cookie recipe. Or use them to hold different types of goodies as part of a candy bar for your guests to enjoy as they make their way home.
The possibilities are endless! Check out some of my favorite mason jar inspirations below and let your imagination run wild.
