A wedding overflowing with sweet moments and handmade details, Amy and Joel’s DIY wedding went off without a hitch!  We have some of their photos today from Photography by Betty Elaine.

From the Bride: Our entire wedding day was perfect and wonderful, but there were definitely some moments that stood out as my favorites. Seeing Joel for the first time that morning was incredible. I was feeling some major jitters as the girls and I were getting ready and as soon as I saw him, I got so excited that I forgot to be nervous! Seeing each other before the ceremony allowed us to have some really sweet moments together before the craziness of the day. The other highlight that stands out to me was how much fun everyone had dancing. My family and friends have some excellent dance moves and it was such a blast to see everyone showing them off!

So much of our wedding was “DIY-ed.” Our budget was tight and my mom and I both love to be crafty, so we put our skills to good use for the wedding decor.
