This week’s Macro Monday featured photographer is Meg Perotti. Meg has been shooting weddings for 6 years, originally working out of Los Angeles but recently settled in the Bay Area, and is currently entering another busy wedding season. She absolutely loves her clients … and all things pretty!
The photos she’s sharing today are from Amber and Dave’s Malibu Wedding. Their wedding was planned to include elements that represented their backgrounds and values. It was held at a former summer camp which was significant to the couple because Dave was once a summer camp counselor and director (he now works as a child psychologist).
Amber and Dave also chose to incorporate cultural rituals that their families are accustomed to such as having mehndi applied the day before to honor Amber’s Pakistani family, signing an egalitarian Ketubah representing Jewish heritage, and Catholic vows to include Dave’s family traditions. Also, the first dance was inspired by Danish tradition.
Congratulations to newlyweds Amber and Dave! It looks like you had a beautiful day. We love to see couples include elements in their wedding day that are significant to their backgrounds, values, and most importantly … who they are together.
Thank you Meg for sharing your photos with us!!
