Tim and Karen, from Tallevi Studios, are this week’s Featured Photographers! Based in Squamish, B.C., the couple often shoot weddings in Whistler, Squamish, Vancouver and on the Sunshine Coast.
Karen: “I love capturing the tears, the laughter, the anxiety, all the emotions people go through on their wedding day. I still even cry at most weddings! Tim is all about lighting and drama. He’s a technician who can make any location look amazing. Our individual styles come together seamlessly to tell the story of a couple’s wedding day – a story that we hope will continue to be told for generations. We’re laid-back and fun. We love working with like-minded couples who fully trust our vision and creativity. We’ve been working together as a husband and wife team in Whistler and Vancouver since 2007 and wouldn’t change anything about the path we’ve chosen. We are two photographers, with two perspectives, but share one vision.”
Today we have some photos from a wedding Tim and Karen shot in Whistler …
Karen: “We were so excited to be contacted by a local couple (rare in Whistler where we mostly do destination weddings). We planned a “first look” earlier in the day to ease their nerves and so that the momentum from the ceremony could be carried straight into the reception.”
Karen: “Ange and Peter worked closely with Marcie Gaukrodger from Bliss Event Planning to bring together their vision for an elegant wedding with a twist of quirkiness and lots of personal touches. They had a beautiful evening ceremony in a chandelier-lit outdoor tent at the Four Seasons. Having grown up in Ontario, they brought their love for cottage country to the ceremony by asking guests to make a wish with one the the wishing stones they had collected from the lakeshore the last time they were visiting “home”. The tables at the reception were named after the lakes back home. These outdoor enthusiasts decided to send their guests home with individual servings of granola to show-off their down-to-earth spirit. It was an amazing day!”
Congratulations Ange and Peter!
