I’m sharing with you a new yet very old idea when it comes to weddings. The idea of giving the gift of an old classic … a vintage book! And talk about inexpensive! Just buy old books from flea markets for this idea. Giving a classic book is a very interesting idea for wedding favors that will be the talk of each reception table at the wedding. This will be a wonderful wedding favor for couples who are teachers, librarians, or couples who just love to read.

No matter if you give children books or old classic novels, guests will enjoy them no matter what. Look for books at  Good Will and thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets and make sure to ask friends and family to donate a book to your wedding fund.

Another lovely idea for couples is to give a “couple story book”. This book can contain the story on how the bride and groom met, their wedding vows and photographs of the couple. Just remember to write a special note thanking friends and family for sharing your special day with you.

One last comment on this wedding idea, is to gift wrap! this way, the books can match your wedding decor, so even if you give out 200 different book titles, they will all look unified as one.I hope you enjoyed this idea, because I surely do! I kind of wish that I  thought of this idea for my own wedding… hehehe…
