What seems to be the most memorable thing for guests at a wedding is not what they ate, what time of the year it was or the flowers. The most memorable things at weddings are the unexpected things. This may sound odd at first. But think about what makes a wedding stand out from the rest … INDIVIDUALITY. It’s all the unexpected and different ideas that stand out in a wedding.
Individuality doesn’t have to cost a pretty penny. I’m going to share just a few budget friendly ideas that you can use for your wedding. Some of these ideas easily use objects around the house and some can be purchased at thrift stores and flea markets. All of these options can make a unique wedding without breaking the bank!
This small wedding “sweet heart” table was put together with mismatching china patterns, glass vases, old books, lace and blue tablecloth. Look for things around your home, or even your grandmother’s home for ways to create a similar shabby chic feel.
In these beautiful images the wedding had a theme of “A Stitch in Time.” Using different shades of yarn, embroidery hoops and some handmade cross-stitching this wedding managed to create a country flare to their very unique wedding.
Collect glass bottles around the house, from friends and family and from thrift shops to create a simple flower centerpiece as sweet as this one.
This image displays a very unique way to dress up a wedding. Think about using vegetables instead of flower arrangements or different objects that can be used as escort cards. This wedding decided to use mini license plates as guest’s nameplates. For the reception table’s chargers, the wedding couple used rusted metal plates that can probably be found at garage sales and flea markets.
Happy Planning :)
