Stevi Sayler Photography recently sent us photos from Angelina and Riad’s Greek wedding. A mix of traditional elements and modern style, this wedding turned out just as the bride and groom had hoped!
Stevi: Angelina and Riad’s Greek Orthodox wedding was unlike any I had ever seen, full of tradition, beauty and energy. A modern flare in the decor and details made this wedding all the more unique and amazing. One of the things I loved so much about this wedding was the large Lebanese family and the traditional send off for the groom from his parents home before the ceremony. The groom and all his groomsmen spent the time before the ceremony dancing, drinking champagne and snacking on traditional sweets. The music was blaring, there were people everywhere, smiles and happy tears were everywhere.
Before they knew it it was time for the ceremony in the Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church which had even more amazing traditions and unique touches that can only be seen at a Greek Orthodox ceremony. From there, it was a non-stop party with a Lebanese band, more amazing sweets, dancing all night and even a secret sunset shoot for a quiet moment alone. This wedding was an all day, nonstop party with amazing food, crazy dancing, fantastic traditions and unstoppable love.
Angelina and Riad have been together for 13 years, they have been through good and bad, have created a family and a life together, it was time to make it official and become man and wife. I couldn’t be happier for this couple and i have no doubt in my mind that they will make their marriage a strong, lasting and happy one.
