Many couples prefer to have themed weddings, which can range from a variety of wedding themes including the beach theme, the 1920’s guys and dolls theme, casino night (Las Vegas) theme, and the classical black and white themed wedding. One for my favorite wedding themes is the very adorable idea of Lovebirds!

The term lovebird stems from the parrots’ strong, monogamous pair bonding and the long periods in which the paired birds will spend sitting together (via: http://en.wikipedia.org). In my eyes, this is an ideal match for wedded bliss. I mean, at the end of the dating game all we are trying to do is to find that prefect mate who we can sit, grow old with and love for the rest of our lives … am I’m right?

With this point made, there are many ways that couples can create a Lovebird theme for their wedding. Decorations can be easily purchased to accommodate this theme. Try looking for birdcages as decorative items; they can be used to hold flower arrangements or wedding cards. Birdcages can also be hung from tree branches and ceilings as added décor. Another lovely idea is to use small tiny nests filled with candied almonds for wedding flavors and escort seating cards.  There are endless amounts of creative ideas that can be incorporated in the theme of  Lovebirds, if you have any, we would love to hear them!

Happy Planning ?
