Crystal & Joey’s Texas wedding was filled with vintage style, retro hair dos and Hollywood glam. The couple pulled all of their inspiration together a planned a beautifully unique wedding celebration. With the wonderful Kim Maguire Photography behind the lens, this event was captured in style. Here are some of the photos from their day!
Crystal (bride) : My inspiration was old, classic Hollywood. I’ve always loved the 30s and 40s era and love retro hairstyles, clothing, and decorations. Those decades are very appealing to me. I love pinks and purples, and think that both of those colors “pop” very well, especially in the spring/summer time. The words I used to describe my wedding to others were “chic,” “elegant,” and “glamorous.” My announcements, invitations, name cards and the schedule that was handed out during the ceremony all had a chandelier printed on them. I thought the chandelier went with the chic, elegant, and glamorous theme. Joey and I also stood under a chandelier during the ceremony and are hanging that exact one above our baby’s crib. I’ve always had passion for fashion and wanted to have bridesmaids dresses that weren’t typical or boring. I wanted very sexy, sleek, fashion forward dresses (and shoes!) that my bridesmaids would actually WANT to wear.
Congratulations Crystal & Joey!
Crystal and her bridesmaids changed into these short, Betsy Johnson dresses at the end of the night.
