I simply adore small table arrangements for wedding receptions, and this arrangement (shown above) is especially lovely. It was hand crafted by floral artist Megan Grey of Honey and Poppies.  This floral arrangement consists different varieties of flowers all in the same hue and color; it also contains hints of green in the leaves and berries. Overall this arrangement is a very monochromatic color scheme, making the floral arrangement modern and minimal.

The other things that I adore about this arrangement are all the small found objects that were used as vases. Using a tea container is very chic and interesting rather then using a traditional glass vase. And let’s talk about how inexpensive the idea is of using commodities that can be purchased in a grocery store and turning them into an elegant and trendy wedding décor item.

Lastly, My absolute favorite detail in this photograph is the hedgehog print used as table numbers. The “H for Hedgehog” print is divine and so interesting to look at, that it will surely be a conversation starter at the reception.

If you would like to make your own wedding reception center piece similar to this one, just remember to use a monochromatic scheme when picking out your floral colors, keep in mind that simple is best.  Find and borrow any unique container that can work well with your floral colors. This can come from flea markets, the grocery store, anywhere! Just be opened minded about your decisions. The container used in this photo is a Jasmine Tea container, which can be purchased at many Chinese grocery stores.   As for the hedgehog print, try looking at flea markets, etsy.com and in children’s books, for a similar look.
