Today we are excited to share some bright and fun inspiration for your reception design and decor! Some wonderful vendors in Virginia got together to style this pink and teal wedding shoot with gold and chevron details. Amanda Hedgepeth Photography was sweet enough to share her lovely photos from the shoot!
Amanda: On a rainy and dark day in Virginia Beach at The Founder’s Inn Resort and Spa we made pink, teal, gold, chevron patterns, florals and tablescape decor look REALLY good! The meticulous details of the table scape including cascading orchids from tall glass centered in the middle of the table and gorgeous thin glass orbs hanging to give dimension and added a very modern look to our vision. The teal painted mirror designs holding the gold adored with jewels vases helped the deep pink of the florals stand out.
The shimmering gold, rich gold and hot pink linens bunched up helped avoid a flat and lifeless table and instead created a full look for the setting. The playful wedding gown from Maya Couture brought together whimsical and modern with the flare but kept it mature and classy with the lace overlay and careful detail including a built in sash with jewels! The casual look of the bride’s hair down but full made for a perfect combination with wind coming off of the lake while the storm rolled in. We embraced the occasional raindrops and proved that rain or shine, a bride can have an incredible setting for her wedding day!
