What inspired you to start your business?
I was inspired to start my business when I was trying to find the perfect budget friendly headpiece for my own August 2009 wedding and had no luck. I started playing around with the idea of making my own headpiece and ended up with about 3 veils and a flower so I added them to etsy to see how they would do. I sold out the next day and from there I kept creating them.
What options for customization do you offer?
Since most of my items are hand painted, I offer a unlimited number of color selections. I also hand cut and shape all of my flowers so their shapes and sizes are also customizable. Other then that, of course all accents/feathers/vintage aspects can be customized as well. Really, the options are limitless!
If you could give one tip to couples who are planning a wedding, what would it be?
I would say take your time on choosing your vendors, do research on them and if possible always take referrals from close friends.
What is something that most people don’t know about your biz/you?
I’m a bit of a workaholic.
What is your one must-have tool to have on-hand when you’re working?
That would definitely be my detailing scissors. I get a little compulsive on finding stray threads and out of place feathers.
If you had to choose one word to describe yourself/your business what would it be?
5 Things that make you happy?
My primula flowering tea
my grandfathers vintage typewriter
