Get ready for some amazing wedding backdrop inspiration!  Couples and event designers alike are getting quite creative when it comes to wedding decor.  In many cases, traditional elements have been thrown to the wind with each wedding taking on it’s own personality (or that of the bride and groom).

I love this sense of anything goes and I’m always happy to see beautiful, yet super unique,  design elements and materials used in wedding decor.  Today I’m  showcasing some wonderful wedding backdrops.  Whether you’re in need of a backdrop for your ceremony, dessert table or DIY photobooth… these are sure to inspire you!

First, I need to mention the photo featured at the top of the post (^) – Those are record sleeves!  I would never have dreamed of using those… but they are the perfect fit at this music themed wedding.

Wood Pallet Backdrop – I’ve seen many uses for wood palettes lately (Pinterest anyone?) but the backdrop from this garden wedding is, hands down, my favorite.  SO cool.

Washi Tape Inspired – This colorful wedding pulled inspiration from the fabulously popular washi tape designs bouncing around the bogosphere.  Perfect for a playful event.

Paper Flowers – This wall-o-flowers from a beautiful coastal wedding could be done with any colors to fit in with your wedding design.  Beautiful with a big impact.

Fabric Streamers – This backdrop from a hot pink styled wedding is a simple statement piece that is also easily customized with color.

Hanging Poms Backdrop – Who doesn’t love poms?  Hanging poms, like the ones in this shoot, are a great way to create a backdrop with texture and depth.

Fringed Streamers – Give your streamer backdrop an added flair with fringed edges!  This one was used for a ceremony in a lovely camp wedding.
